The Faculty of Canon Law has a state-ecclesiastical status and a nearly seventy-year tradition. It educates future specialists in the field of canon law and provides basic education in the field of Polish secular law.
The Faculty offers long-cycle Master’s studies in two specializations: canonical-civil (full-time studies) and administrative-judicial (full-time and part-time studies). The Faculty also organizes postgraduate studies and training courses. The Faculty is authorized to confer academic degrees: doctor and habilitated doctor.
The Faculty of Canon Law is a recognized on the national and international arena research center that conducts research in the field of canon law. It is also the organizer of numerous scientific conferences, including the international ones.
As a part of the Erasmus + Program, students and doctoral students of partner universities may complete a part of their studies at the Faculty of Canon Law. We invite students of the following universities: Università degli studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale (Italy), Universidad de Navarra (Spain) and Universidad de Huelva (Spain). We also invite students from other universities interested in cooperation with our Faculty.
